Jinja: ConnectWay Mission & Vision Pre-Launch Meeting Update

On November 9, 2024, we held a productive pre-launch meeting for ConnectWay’s mission and vision, gathering 32 youth leaders, ministers, and representatives from 12 churches across Jinja, including Kamuli, Buwekula, Wakitaka, Budhumbuli, Kainogoga, Nakanyonyi, Wairaka, Bugembe, Mafubira, and Mauta. The meeting served as an essential moment to present the purpose of ConnectWay, align with local church leaders, and receive valuable feedback for tailoring programs to meet the unique needs of each community.

The session included a dynamic question-and-answer segment, where youth leaders expressed their enthusiasm for ConnectWay’s mission. They asked insightful questions and shared feedback on how to adapt the programs to serve their specific communities. The enthusiasm and dedication were inspiring, reinforcing the desire to see ConnectWay make a meaningful impact across these regions.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our next meeting on December 8, 2024, to prepare for the official launch in January 2025. As we move forward, all attendees are encouraged to begin building interest in their communities gathering potential group members, and spreading the vision of ConnectWay. Key next steps include finalizing group structures, assigning local coordinators, and setting up communication channels to ensure continued engagement and alignment.
