ConnectWay Statement of Faith

These beliefs guide our mission to empower youth through faith, personal growth, and service, grounding us in the truth and promises of God’s Word.

1. The Triune God
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We worship God as our Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer, honoring His presence in every aspect of life (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).

2. The Authority of Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, providing the foundation for our faith and guiding our actions and decisions (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105).

3. Salvation through Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again, offering eternal life to all who believe. Salvation is a gift of grace and cannot be earned through human efforts (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9).

4. The Power of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit, who empowers and guides believers. The Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts, strengthens us in faith, and enables us to reflect God’s love and righteousness in our lives (Acts 1:8, John 14:26).

5. The Call to Discipleship and Service
We believe that every follower of Christ is called to grow in relationship with Him and to live out their faith through service, compassion, and witness. We equip youth to be disciples who positively impact their communities and the world for Christ (Matthew 5:16, Matthew 28:19-20).

6. The Unity of Believers
We believe in the unity of all believers in Jesus Christ and strive to build a community of love, respect, and support. We encourage one another in faith and good works, promoting harmony within the body of Christ (John 17:21, Ephesians 4:3).

7. The Value of Every Person
We believe that each person is created in God’s image, valuable and worthy of respect. We are called to serve others, promote justice, and demonstrate love to all, regardless of background or status (Genesis 1:27, James 2:8).

8. The Return of Jesus Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ and in the resurrection of the dead. We eagerly await the fulfillment of God’s promises and the gift of eternal life with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:20).
